Will you really build a website for free?
Yes, we really will build your website, free of charge, so long as you have purchased one of the subscription tiers. There are multiple templates that have various looks and feels for you to choose from in terms of design. You’ll fill out a questionnaire to help us understand a little more about your specific church, and then we get to work!
Can we customize the website after its built?
Of course, it’s yours! You can edit content, add/change photos, build more pages, and more. There are certain aspects of web editor that are locked down so that no one accidentally deletes their whole website, but editing privileges are given to your login after the site is built.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
While we obviously wish that no one would feel the need to cancel, the last thing we want to happen is to have you lose your website. Your subscription to Beacon covers your hosting fees, so you’ll need to find another hosting option. You can cancel your subscription at any time and, with enough prep time on our end, we’ll do what we can to help you migrate your website to another hosting provider.
What kind of website can I expect?

How do I get a custom domain?
You can purchase a new custom domain through our website by clicking here, or you can use another domain purchasing provider of your choice (NameCheap, GoDaddy, etc.). Once you have a domain name secured, we’ll help you get it activated for your website.
